PlayStation 4 Officially Revealed!

There's been many rumors about Sony's nextgen video game console. They invited us to "See the Future" on February 20th and everything pointed to that PlayStation 4 would make its first appearance. And I was very excited and a little nervous for the PlayStation Meeting 2013. It's always a special feeling when a new video game console is announced. I remember the last times it happened, and it's a wonderful feeling.

Today was the day everyone's been looking forward to. It was an exciting day for gamers everywhere. And it didn't take long before Sony revealed PlayStation 4 live to millions of gamers across the world. This next-generation console will deliver breakthrough gaming experiences for fans starting this holiday season.

PlayStation 4 is centered on all the gamers. It redefines rich and immersive gameplay with powerful graphics and speed, intelligent personalization, deeply integrated social capabilities, and innovative second-screen features. When Sony designed PlayStation 4, they focused on building an architecture that will allow the greatest game developers in the industry to push boundaries and dig deep within their imaginations to create the most immersive and unique games for gamers to enjoy.

The PS4 Games

The future of PlayStation is all about great games and entertainment, and at PlayStation Meeting 2013, Sony brought some of the brightest and most creative minds from the development community on stage to unveil the games that will define PS4. A partial initial lineup for PlayStation 4 includes first-party games from Guerilla Games (Killzone: Shadow Fall), Sucker Punch (inFAMOUS: Second Son), Evolution Studios (DriveClub), and Japan Studio (Knack), as well as titles from partners such as Activision/Bungie (Destiny), Blizzard Entertainment (Diablo III), Capcom (Deep Down), and Ubisoft (Watch_Dogs). PlayStation also reinforced its commitment to self-publishing and the independent development community by having Jonathan Blow onstage who gave a sneak peek of his upcoming title The Witness. Finally, the incredible minds at Media Molecule and Quantic Dream gave glimpses of their conceptualization process and the future of gameplay with some remarkable footage. Sony only scratched the surface at the event, and will have many more exciting titles to come.

With so much amazing content in development for PlayStation 4, the fans will get every opportunity to check out virtually any PS4 game when it becomes available. In the future, when a gamer sees a title of interest in PlayStation Store, they can immediately start playing a portion of the actual game.

DualShock 4

The new DualShock controller to PS4 has been redesigned and now features a more rounded form factor as well as what appears to be a slightly rubberized grip. The new, built-in sensor provides a highly sensitive motion controller. You can interact with games like never before thanks to the touchpad on the controllers' front panel. Sound effects are played back through a built-in speaker, and headset jack. You can both hear the game sound and chat with friends. The dual analog sticks on the controller have improved and got better precision. With the new, curved L2 and R2 buttons, you get even more control.

You will instantly be able to share images and videos of your favorite gameplay moments on Facebook with a single press on the DualShock 4 controller’s new SHARE-button. You can also broadcast while you play in real-time through Ustream, allowing friends to comment or jump into your game in new ways. This new feature will change the way you interact with friends while you play.

An LED Light Bar on the controller's top matches the color of the characters in the game so that players can keep track of each other. You can, for example, also see when a character has been damaged. The new Light Bar isn't just a way to identify your player number. It also works like a PS Move. Another reason that the Move functionality was incorporated into the DualShock 4 is to enable the console to know where you're sitting in relation to the TV, and your on-screen character.

PlayStation 4 Eye

A new camera has been developed in conjunction with the controller, and it tracks the position of the DualShock 4 via the LED Light Bar. The PlayStation 4 Eye comes with a pair of 1280x800 cameras, four microphones and an 85-degree field of view. The two lenses are designed to be used in a variety of ways, including triangulating the 3D space, gesture recognition, Kinect-style body tracking, and in conjunction with accessories like the Wonderbook or DualShock 4 controller. The original PlayStation Eye camera only has one lens, and it had to do everything. With the new unit, one camera will concentrate on capturing the action and ensuring good picture quality, while the other is dedicated to motion tracking. Sony is also aiming to enable users to take 3D pictures and video and store it on the console. As for the microphones in the new PS Eye and how that'll impact interaction with the PlayStation 4 on a system level isn't known at this time. Though it'll be incorporated into games using voice commands.

The PlayStation Move controller will also work on PlayStation 4. Media Molecule, the creators of LittleBigPlanet, introduce on-stage what the company's been creating for the nextgen game system. They showed a video where they sculpted a digital clay and created their own characters and environments using the Move controller. You could then control the characters with the Move controller and act as puppeteers. Media Molecule didn't announce an actual game title, but is certainly working on a new game for the PS4.

With PlayStation 4 you will be able to access your games quicker than ever before. PS4’s “suspend mode” eliminates the load time on your saved game and allows you to immediately return to where you left off by pressing the power button. PlayStation 4’s background downloading and updating capability also allows you to immediately play digital titles as they download, or update the system when the hardware is powered off.

PS4 will make it easier for you to play your favorite games and access content wherever you are by leveraging PlayStation Network with Gaikai technology. Sony sees the PS Vita as the ultimate companion device for PS4 and it’s their long-term vision to make most PS4 games playable on PS Vita, so you can bring your favorite games from the big-screen TV to your PS Vita over Wi-Fi. They're also introducing a “PlayStation App” for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices that acts as a second screen, allowing for unique gameplay possibilities such as viewing maps during an adventure game or remotely watching friends play during an epic battle—right from a smartphone or tablet.

Payday: The Heist announced for PS3 & PC

It seems that the folks at Overkill Software are fans of The Dark Knight, because their newly-announced Payday: The Heist greatly resembles The Joker's bank robbery from the film. We're not sure if clown masks are a necessity, but this squad-based team shooter will have you picking classes, robbing banks, and taking hostages.
Here are some features, as outlined by Sony:
  • Six High-Intensity Heists: Whether you're blowing the roof off a building to extract a safe via helicopter or emptying the vault at the First World Bank, these action-packed heists will have players on edge and always checking their six.
  • Interactive Co-op Gameplay: Whether AI or live, your crew of four must operate as one to bring get the "big score." Sharing extra ammo and med kits, helping regen wounded partners, guarding key positions, taking civilian hostages or cracking through various security measures - it's all for one and one for all.
  • Endless Replayability: Dynamic environments, adaptive enemy behavior, shifting entry points, FBI agents repelling down on ropes through the skylights, SWAT teams crashing through the windows and special units crawling through the ventilation shafts makes each play-through of every heist a unique fight.
  • Massive Character Progression Tree: Players choose a specialty - assault, sharpshooter or support - to gain weapons and equipment that fit their preferred form of violence. Unlock trip mines, silenced pistols, machine guns and much, much more.
  • Shout Out Button: Players need to be vocal and shout commands and directions to the co-op crew, as well as hostages and the police if they want to survive to spend their cut of the take.
  • Hostage Trading: Hostages can be a lifeline. If anyone in the crew is taken into custody, trade hostages to get crew members back and increase the odds of completing your objectives.
  • PlayStation® or PC: For keyboard and mouse marksman, as well as handheld controller snipers, PAYDAY is the uber-FPS for a high intensity shooter fix.
  • More DLC: Additional heists, weapons and equipment means PAYDAY - a digitally distributed AAA quality title for less than half the price of a retail game - is total OVERKILL.
Hopefully we'll get our hands on the game at E3 next week. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.

Sony NGP (PSP2) finally announced!

Yesterday in Japan, Sony unveiled the successor to its PSP handheld. The device, currently codenamed “NGP” for “next-generation portable,” has a 5-inch OLED screen, dual analog sticks, and a touch-screen interface. Of course, those are only the most superficial details. We were there for the press conference, and we’ve already posted loads of info and hands-on impressions. Sifting through all of those stories might be a little daunting, so we’ve compiled the essential information into this one handy location.

Read on for everything you need to know about the NGP, with links to Game Informers complete stories.

Hardware
Sony’s packing a lot of tech into the NGP, including a 5” OLED screen with a resolution of 960 x 544 pixels, front and rear facing touch pads, front and rear facing cameras, a gyroscope and accelerometer, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities, two analog sticks, and a d-pad. It’s all powered by a quad-core ARM Cortext-A9 CPU and an SGX543MP4+ graphics processor.

You might be wondering how much something like this will cost…and you’re going to have to keep wondering. Sony’s remaining mum about pricing, but SCE worldwide studio president Shu Yoshida did tell us that pricing has been on Sony’s mind since development on the NGP started in 2008. “Hopefully when we announce the price, people will see the proper value," he told our own Phil Kollar.

Phil got his hands on the device, and reported back his thoughts by what he saw and played. He was particularly impressed with the system’s screen and overall build quality, even going so far as to say it was—gasp—sexy. Scandalous!

The system is abandoning the UMD optical format in favor of a mix between flash-based cartridges and downloads. "Digital distribution’s role and scope and ratio of sales will definitely increase,”says Yoshida. “It’s just a matter of time as people get faster Internet connections. So the role and importance of digital sales will increase. But at the same time, there are people who just want to buy a game at a store and plug and play. That’s why we decided to adopt the flash media format."

Sony has more ambitious plans for its GPS than simple navigation. A new application called LiveArea lets players communicate with friends, and a program called Near shows where you’ve played and displays the most popular games in a particular area.

Software
Now comes the part that actually moves units—games. As sleek and sexy as the NGP might be, without software support, it’s dead in the water. Sony’s confident that it has the support it needs, with a roster of 82 developers and publishers said to be currently working on the platform. Curiously, THQ and EA aren't on the list. Epic Games was among the heavy hitters in attendance, showing off a version of its Unreal 3 Engine running on the NGP.

Activision said that a Call of Duty was in the works for the system, though the company didn’t elaborate whether it was an all-new game or a port of an existing release. Konami showed off footage of Metal Gear Solid 4 on the NGP, but there wasn’t any official word on if it would be available on the platform or if the demonstration was merely a tech demo. Other game announcements included Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Wipeout, Uncharted, and Killzone.

OK, you didn’t think we’d just mention Uncharted without a little more info, did you? Fine. Phil got his hands on the portable game, and he wrote up his impressions here. The game was definitely designed with the new hardware in mind, including touch-activated stealth kills and sections where you use the hardware’s gyroscope to line up rifle shots. As Phil says, it’s shaping up to be a great look at what this new hardware is capable of.

Phil also got to sample a game called Little Deviants, which he describes as feeling more like a tech demo than a full-on game at this point. It was a great way to put the rear-facing touch pad through its paces, however, including its multi-touch support.

If you’re a trophy collector, take note: The NGP will support those collectables.

Finally, if you want to read Game Informers live reactions from the press conference, check out Phil’s liveblog. It’s not really live anymore, but it’s a fun look at the crowd reaction and our first impressions on all of these announcements.

Sony at GamesCom 2010

Sony unveiled a few unannounced games this year at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, and showcased some of their upcoming titles like Killzone 3 and Motorstorm: Apocalypse in full stererscopic 3D.

Cramped into the eWerk theatre in the Mullheim district of Cologne, a massive crowd of games journalists eagerly waited to see what Sony would show off at this year's GamesCom. Here are some of the highlights of their press conference.

  • A LittleBigPlanet 2 trailer highlighted some of the ways players will be able to not only create their own levels in the upcoming sequel, but design their own fully-fledged games. This includes utilizing connectible stages, so player-designed games can go beyond the “Go from A to B” formula of the previous title.
  • The company announced new bundles for their PS3 system, including Move packages. You can read more about that here.
  • Each person attending the conference was given (err, rented) a pair of 3D glasses for one presentation, which highlighted many of the upcoming and currently supported 3D games Sony has to offer. By far the most impressive was Motorstorm: Apocalypse, due to the speed and visceral nature of the racing series. Especially awesome was the amount of destruction going on in each track; like Split/Second, the world is literally coming apart at the seams while players race through it--very cool.
  • Greg Goodrich of EA once again took the stage to show off more Medal of Honor, only this time he called upon the skills of Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, who wrote a song for the game. The stage the pair showed off was called Gunfighters, and took place inside a helicopter equipped with enough firepower to take out a small middle eastern village, which is exactly what Shinoda did. Many enemies equipped with RPGs didn't make the mission a cakewalk, but they eventually made it through. It seems the devs have put a bit more polish on the game since the last time we saw it, as the framerate was much less choppy this time around.
  • In what was easily the shortest gameplay segment of the press conference, the crowd was shown an extremely brief Killzone 3 MP segment, though aside from watching players score points by getting kills, it was hard to take away much from the video, other than making us want to get our hands on the game even more.
  • Insomniac Games' Ted Price took the stage to reveal what one of the newer branches of the studio was been up to, which turned out to be Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. The four-player co-op game relies on teamwork between players just as New Super Mario Bros. Wii did, though the teamwork aspect becomes more complex in the three-dimensional arena. A boss fight towards the end of the demo showed how teamwork is integral in All 4 One, as players needed to launch their buddies into the air to activate switches which would cause huge structures to collapse onto the towering boss creature.
  • Ted Price didn't leave the stage without one last bit of news: Resistance 3 is under development. He debuted a live-action trailer which showed survivors making their way towards New York on a train. The grim scenery on the way included countless massacred corpses and homes ransacked by the Chimera forces. Upon entering a tunnel, the survivors came under attack by a ferocious group of Chimera, and the trailer faded to black under a “Resistance 3” logo. Exciting stuff, but show us some gameplay!

Sony at E3 2010

Sony's Press Conference at E3 2010 ended a few hours ago. I watched it live via GameTrailers.com and I think the live streaming worked well and had great HD picture. The only thing that was a little annoying was that it started over a few seconds back if your connection became a little unstable.

Anyway, I think Sony did a great job at this years E3 press conference, they had a few surprises that really were unexpected, and that's always fun.

PlayStation Move

Sony showed more of PlayStation Move, and showed a few live demonstrations that were pretty good. Sony revealed some of the games that will be coming to the PlayStation Move when it launches later this year. Games mentioned include Time Crisis, Singstar Dance, Echochrome 2, Eyepet, Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5, Bruswick Bowling, Fight Night, Sports Champions, Move party, Heroes on the Move, Socom 4, The Shoot, Tron and Sorcery. Sony has revealed that 40 developers and publishers are working on games for the PlayStation Move.

They announced that Move will go on sale in Europe on September 15, with the US getting it on September 19 along with some bundles. Japan gets it on October 21. It’s $49.99 for the controller on its own. The sub controller is $29.99. A bundle of both controllers, plus PlayStation Eye will go on sale for $100. Additionally, a PS3 Sports Champion Move Bundle, will be on offer and includes a PS3, Move motion controller, Eye, Sports Champions Blu-ray game and Move game demo disc for $399.99. The PlayStation Eye will also be sold separately for $39.99. SCE Worldwide Studios will also release more than 20 titles that are either dedicated to, or supported with Move in fiscal year 2010 ending March 2011.

The PlayStation Move shooting attachment places the Move motion controller horizontally, and will allow players to hold the motion controller as if they are holding a gun in order to aim at an in-game target. The trigger on the attachment is interlocked with the motion controller T button and will enable users to play not only shooters, but also games that may require precise button input and control. It will be available this fall for $19.99.

PlayStation Plus

Sony has announced PlayStation Plus for the PlayStation Network. The new service will be available for $49.99 in the US per-year, with three months free for a limited time. For elsewhere, it will be €49.99 in Europe, ¥5,000 in Japan and HK$233 in Asia. For a month, it’s: ¥500 (Japan), HK$38 (Asia). For three months: $17.99 (North America), €14.99 (Europe).

The service will allow subscribers to download fully designated PS3 and PSN titles as well as PS One Classics for free for a designated period and charge every month. Jack Tretton has revealed that users will get “hundreds of dollars’ worth of value” with anyone who subscribes in the first month getting Wipeout HD, an inFamous trial and the Rally Cross mini.

Other content the users will get includes avatars, DLC, map packs, discounts, early access to stuff, automatic content download & updates and Qore, all of which will be available as long as you are a subscriber. The service begins on June 22.

The Exclusives

Sony announced that Killzone 3 will be released February 2011. The announcement came at the end of a 3D demo of the Guerrilla shooter. It was also confirmed it would support Move. They showed the single player version of Killzone 3 in normal and 3D mode. The game looks amazing, I really like the new close combat attacks and the jetpack. And it's also nice that you will be able to play in different environments.

John Schappert, EA COO, appeared on the stage and confirmed that the PS3 version of Medal of Honor will get exclusive content. The exclusive is a HD remake of Medal of Honor: Frontline, and it will be free for PS3 users only, when it launches on October 12 in the US and October 15 in Europe.

Sony revealed a new PS3-exclusive Limited Edition Dead Space 2 pack, which will include a PS3 port of the Wii game Dead Space: Extraction for free on January 28. Also, Extraction will include PlayStation Move support. Dead Space: Extraction will be in full HD, and features the entire single-player game complete with all-new trophy support, as well as co-op gameplay, using Move in addition to DualShock 3 and SixAxis controllers. The game will also be sold separately as a standalone game via the PlayStation Store.

Ubisoft announced on stage that the multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be exclusive to PlayStation 3 and PSN. The game will also get exclusive content on PS3 that you can’t get anywhere else.

Sony has revealed that Mafia II will include exclusive day one content when bought on PlayStation 3. The content will be free and includes exclusive missions and arcade style gameplay. Mafia II will be released on August 24 2010.

Sony has finally announced the release date of Gran Turismo 5, which is Novmeber 2 2010. But only in North America, a release date for Europe wasn't announced. However, I will not be surprised if they delay this video game even more, hopefully they will stick to the announced release date.

The Surprises

The biggest surprise at this years' E3 was when Gabe Newell, from Valve, stepped onto Sony’s stage and announced that Portal 2 is coming to PlayStation 3, and it will include Steamworks. And he also said that Portal 2 on PS3 will be the best version on any console, I agree. PS3’s the only console version of Portal 2 that includes Steamworks. It will make it easier to auto update, use community features, and get downloadable content. Portal 2 is targeted for launch in 2011.

“When the PlayStation 3 was introduced, I was the one of the platform’s biggest critics,” said Newell. “However, Sony has proved that the PlayStation 3 is the most open platform of all the current generation consoles and has worked extremely hard to make the platform the most desirable for consumers and developers.

“As such, we are delighted to announce Portal 2 for the PlayStation 3 and believe the Steamworks support included will make it the best console version of the game".

This was a huge surprise, and I can't believe that they have announced it, because I was so sure that I would never have the opportunity to play Portal 2, and today Sony proved otherwise. My mind is blown, and everyone else's too!

The other announcement that also surprised me was when Sony revealed that a new Twisted Metal video game is coming to PlayStation 3 in 2011.

The new game is being developed by the original team and will include an online team deathmatch mode with helicopters, cars, vans and any other vehicle that you can strap a weapon to. Another mode, Capture the Faction sees you trying to capture the other teams' statue and includes an objective mode, faction based gameplay, a freeway system and rooftop combat.

The game is exclusive to PlayStation 3 and wrapped up a very impressive E3 press conference from Sony.

Live from Sony's CES 2010 press event

Today Sony had their CES 2010 press event in Las Vegas. I'm going to write about the new exciting stuff they announced. The big thing they announced was 3D, everything from Blu-ray 3D to Sony Bravia HDTV with 3D support. They also had news about the other stuff Sony has in their wide range of products, like a new pocket cam called "Bloggie".

Below is a summary of what happened at Sony's CES 2010 press event.

Sir Howard Stringer announced that Sony Music and Jimi Hendrix's estate have announced a significant partnership. A ton of stuff will be available in 3D, all converted. They're also committed to doing live performances in 3D. Taylor Swift made a performance in 3D live, they were projecting it live in 3D on the screen behind her.

Stan Glasgow, President and COO, Sony Electronics, says that "make.believe" is not an empty marketing message, they're establishing a personal and practical connection with the consumers. Sony is committed to the idea that anything you can imagine, you can make real. The dot in make.believe symbolizes the place where... make meets believe.

New Bravias, featuring Sony's new monolithic design, are revealed. NX800 - new LED backlit set. New Bravias starting this spring, from 22-60 inches. Monolithic TV's are designed for be viewed at a six degree slant to compensate for low stands. They'll obviously be connected TV's, lots of "Bravia Internet Video" integration and Bravia Internet Widgets. Monolithic design will also be in many home theater products. New HTIB with wireless speakers. Also new Blu-ray deck with monolithic design, WiFi, joined by a new HTIB that does internet video and BD-Live.

Sony is committed to providing content that consumers want everywhere they go. "Sony Dash Internet Viewer" is announced. It can either lie flat or stand. The new Dash personal internet viewer is designed to show you your favorite parts of the internet in a dash. It also does movies, audio, Facebook and Twitter.Kaz Hirai entered the stage and said that 1.7 million PlayStation 3's were sold in North America alone this past quarter. Kaz is also proud of all the recent games that have been released. He was not there just to talk about the PS3, Sony is expanding their network services beyond PS3 and PSP.

More countries will get Premium Video Content on PlayStation Network later this year. They're extending the video services to more devices, Blu-ray players, laptops and TV's. Single user ID for both PSN and other consumer products, so these other devices aren't getting true PSN, but they're looking at making a single experience in the future. Kaz also says that there're 38 million registered users on PlayStation Network.

You're going to be able to stream movies to VAIO and other Windows PC this month in six countries, also BD decks and TV's. It has become clear to Sony that they need a more centralized organizational structure to go forward, so they have established Sony Network Entertainment Inc, another Sony division.

Stan Glasgow talked about content on the go and the Reader Daily Edition. Wall Street Journal is available now, and two new exclusive Dow Jones packages are also now available: MarketWatch and WSJ Plus. An electronic version of the New York Post is coming soon.

HandyCam and Cyber-shot cameras are going to have dual-SD and MemoryStick, Sony just went away from their own proprietary format. They're also talking about the new EXMOR Handycams, and then Sony is introducing the Bloggie, a new pocket cam, that sounds like a continuation of last year's Webbie. Also a new geotagging Cyber-shot camera with compass is announced, the new TX7 also works with the Party-dock.Sony showed off TransferJet, which is a new type of close proximity wireless transfer technology developed by Sony and initially demonstrated publicly in early 2008. By touching (or bringing very close together) two electronic devices, TransferJet allows high speed exchange of data. The concept of TransferJet consists of a touch-activated interface, which can be applied for applications requiring high-speed data transfer between two devices in a peer-to-peer mode without the need for external physical connectors. TransferJet's maximum physical layer transmission rate is 560 Mbit/s. After allowing for error correction and other protocol overhead, the effective maximum throughput is 375 Mbit/s. TransferJet will adjust the data rate downward according to the wireless environment, thereby maintaining a robust link even when the surrounding wireless condition fluctuates. TransferJet is coming to cameras, photo frames, and VAIO in the future.

Sony announced the new VAIO W, a laptop so green it doesn't come with a printed manual. It's also made out of recycled CD's, which is a lot cooler than that printed manual thing. In addition, VAIO F, with Intel's latest quad-core CPU and HDMI out, which is ideal for multi-media and gaming, is shown. And an ultra light weight laptop called VAIO Z, is announced. It showcases ultramobile expertise, intelligent switching between graphics intensive and battery saving modes.

Sony's commitment to 3D should leave no doubt about where they're heading. They will marshall all their resources to deliver the next great consumer experience, 3D. Sony has a partnership with RealD, Discovery, and IMAX. They are also opening a 3D technology center to teach filmmakers how to shoot 3D. Sony and CBS are partnering on The Sony 3D Experience, a new consumer research experience.2010 FIFA World Cup will be in 3D this summer, shot on Sony 3D cameras. ESPN 3D is launching this summer, first 3D sports network. Sony is working hard to make Sony devices already in the home 3D friendly. All existing PlayStation 3 will be firmware upgraded to do 3D games and 3D Blu-ray.

Sony introduced a new 3D Bravia for 2010. They'll be packaged with two pairs of active shutter glasses, and a transmitter built in. They'll be joined by two other lines of 3D-capable sets that don't bundle the glasses and the transmitter. Which you'll have to go out and buy separately. They also showed off a prototype of a 3D OLED TV. Sony said that their goal is to become an undisputed global leader in 3D.

"IT ONLY DOES EVERYTHING" [Update!]

I haven't updated my Blog in awhile now, been busy with the new laptop that failed to work. So we went to the store and returned it and thank God that I could change it to another one! I picked a SONY VAIO that is actually faster than the PB and has a better 3D card. And of course it has Blu-ray, even though I didn't need it, I already have my PlayStation 3, but the "VAIO" supports full HD 1080p. My HDTV only supports 720p but I love it anyway, I payed for it myself, but in the future I will get a new HDTV with "Full HD 1080p" or more if it exists and I will pick the "Sony Bravia LED" HDTV. I will get the laptop in about two weeks and I really hope it will work great, I'm looking forward to it. And I will write more about what I think of it then.

I think SONY is the best, it's a really great company. Every Sony product I own have always worked great and that's what I love about them: Great quality in their products, the newest technology, great sense for the design and new ideas and the way they do all this is something all the Sony companies in the world do, it doesn't matter if it's in Japan or USA they have a special way of doing things and I like that. Sony has so many thing going on: Videogame consoles (Sony PlayStation 3), Electronics (Sony Bravia, Sony Vaio, Sony Ericsson, Sony Walkman, Sony Handycam, Sony Cyber-shot, Stereos and more...), Format (Blu-ray), Music label (Sony Music), Movie companies (Sony Pictures) and more... They have a lot going on "SONY ONLY DOES EVERYTHING".

Today I listened to "Out Of Ashes" and I think it's a great album and it doesn't sound like Linkin Park and that's cool because it sounds unique. I will listen to it even more tomorrow, because I know it will grow even more on me the second time around. A review of Dead By Sunrise's "Out Of Ashes" will be posted soon...

It's happening a lot in the PlayStation world today! Sony had their live press conference from "GamesCom" today. Sony finally announced the rumored PlayStation 3 "Slim", it's REAL!

A new trailer from the PS3 exclusive game "Heavy Rain"!

And a new trailer from "Heavy Rain", it's the game to PS3 I most look forward to, it's going to be awesome. Fahrenheit to PS2 was a very cool game, it had great atmosphere and I felt alot of feeling. That's what I love about both movies, music and video games, the feelings I get when I'm experiencing it, positive feelings and happiness. And I think "Heavy Rain" will be filled with even more feelings and atmosphere than the previous one. Check out the new trailer to "Heavy Rain" it's so powerful, I got goosebumps! Watch it below!

New trailer from "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves"!

And of course the new trailer for "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" is really cool! I loved "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" I just finished it a few weeks ago (I bought the Platinum edition). It was really fun, you really felt like you had been experiencing a adventure, like "Indiana Jones". "Uncharted 2" has beautiful graphics and I will of course buy it. New trailer below!
